The 25th New York Banquet took place on Wednesday 7th October at The ‘21’ Club. Honouring James Nesbitt, Actor, Presenter, Comedian and Chancellor of Ulster University and John J Kelly, C.P.C.U., Managing Partner Hanover Stone LLC.

Following the Cocktail Reception Jim Quinn, President Flax Trust/America welcomed guests and invited Fr. James Dorr to give the invocation.

Professor Jackie McCoy, Director Ulster University/QAHE Partnership London & Birmingham, reported on the School for Social Enterprises In Ireland (SSEI) and Tom O’Brien, President & CEO Sun National Bank, Director Flax Trust/America, reported on Ulster Community Investment Trust (UCIT).

Sr. Mary Turley, Director Flax Trust, gave the background of The Flax Trust Award.

Tom Moran, Chairman & CEO Mutual of America, introduced honoree John Kelly CPCU Managing Partner of Hanover Stone Partners and Director Flax Trust/America. John Kelly responded.

Following dessert Jim Quinn invited remarks from the Gathering, thanked guests and drew proceedings to a close.
