Following the Champagne Reception Co Chairs Jim Boland & Mike McCurry, Jim Boland welcomed guests – Business and Union Leaders, Academia and Government.

Heather Foley Esq. and Fr. Seamus Finn gave the invocation.

Jeff Finkle, President & CEO International Economic Development Council IEDC/Director Flax Trust/America, gave an up-date on Ulster Community Investment Trust (UCIT).

Professor Emeritus Ken O’Neill Chair, School for Social Enterprises in Ireland (SSEI); Steering Committee International Small Business Congress; Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Ulster University Belfast and holder of Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion and Lifetime Achievement Award, gave an up-date on SSEI.

Mike McCurry introduced Honoree Megyn Kelly, Anchor, The Kelly File, Fox News Channel and Sr. Mary Turley presented The Flax Trust Award to Megyn. Megyn responded.

John Feehery, President, Quinn Gillespie Public Affairs/Director Flax Trust/America introduced Honoree Matthew R. Shay, President & CEO National Retail Federation. Sr. Mary Turley presented The Flax Trust Award to Matthew. Matthew responded.

Jim Boland and Mike McCurry invited spreakers:-
Irish Ambassador to the United States, Anne Anderson
Prof. Paddy Nixon Vice Chancellor Ulster University;
Prof. Pat O’Shea Vice President & Chief Research Officer, Prof. of Electrical & Computer Engineering University of Maryland.
Professors Nixon and O’Shea gave an up-date on the working relationship between the two Universities.
