Mark O’Connell CEO OCO Global and IEDC Board member presents Fr Myles Kavanagh with the Lifetime Achievement Award

Following the Champagne Reception Jim Boland welcomed guests and invited Ambassador Paula Dobriansky (former Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs and President’s Special Envoy to Northern Ireland) to give the invocation.

Jim Boland and Mike McCurry invited guests to toast the late John Cosgrove.

Congressman James Walsh, K & L Gates, Director Flax Trust America gave an up-date on the School for Social Enterprises in Ireland (SSEI).

John Feehery, President, Quinn Gillespie Public Affairs, Director Flax Trust/America gave an up-date on Ulster Community Investment Trust (UCIT).

Mike McCurry introduced Honoree Katty Kay, Lead Anchor, BBC World News America. Sr. Mary Turley, Director Flax Trust presented the Flax Trust Award. Katty Kay responded.

Hon. Tom Donahue, President & Secretary/Treasurer Emeritus AFL CIO/ Director Flax Trust/America introduced Honoree H.E. Anne Anderson, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States. Sr. Mary Turley presented the Flax Trust Award. H.E. Anne Anderson responded.

Jeff Finkle, President & CEO International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Director Flax Trust/America introduced the Lifetime Achievement Award to Fr Myles Kavanagh C.P. Founder Flax Trust. Live link with Belfast, presentation to Fr Myles by Mark O’Connell CEO OCO Global and IEDC Board member. Fr Myles responded.

Jim Boland invited remarks from guests and invited Pattie Cunningham, National Account Manager, United Airlines to present tickets to the winner of the round trip to Ireland courtesy of United.

Sr Mary Turley thanked guests and sponsors. Jim Boland drew proceedings to a close.
