The 29th FLAX TRUST ROSEBOWL golf competition took place at Shandon Park Golf Club on 2nd August 2013.  Sponsors were Aspen.  The competition for the 19th year was in aid of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.  Fr. Myles Kavanagh Chairman Flax Trust presented a cheque for £3,000 to Zoe Fox from the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

The competition was won by ORTUS.  Runner-up prize went to Horizon Magazine.  The overall CLUB Competition was won by Paul Dobbin.  The overall SOCIETY winner was Frank Reilly.  The ‘BACK NINE’ was won by Colin Moffat

‘NEAREST THE PINS’ were won by Brian McLaughlin, Colin Mitchell and Colin Moffat.  Brian McLaughlin won the ‘NEAREST THE PIN IN 2’ while Patrick Wisdom had the ‘LONGEST DRIVE’.
