Flax Trust Christmas Concert on 20th December at St Patrick’s Church, Donegall Street, Belfast

The Concert was in aid of St Patrick’s Soup Kitchen which provides a number of services, including warm meals on weekends, advice, food & clothing hampers, and a safe space for people to connect with others.

The Christmas concert featured City of Belfast Youth Orchestra, Conductor Paul Mc Bride, Manager Robert Briscoe, Leader Sean Catney. Flax Vocal Ensemble, Megan Mooney Soprano and the cast of Oliver. Master of Ceremonies was Noel Thompson, BBC. Read more

City of Belfast Youth Orchestra performed A Christmas Festival – Sanderson. Soloist Stuart Anderson. Danzon No. 2 – A Marques; bellf os Christmas – Arr. B Kogstad. Flax Vocal Ensemble – Winter Wonderland – F Bernard. Mozarts FA – LA – LA – WIA. Mozart. Congregational Hymns included O Come, All Ye Faithful – Trad and Hark the Herald Angels Sing – F Mendelssohn.

The Concert concluded with Megan Mooney and Flax Vocal Ensemble with CBYO – O Holy Night – A Adane; I Wish You A Merry Christmas – J Rutter.
