FLAX TRUST ARTS CHRISTMAS CONCERT at Holy Cross Church, Belfast, Friday 19th December 2025 in aid of NI Children’s Hospice.
Master of ceremonies was James McGinn. The concert featured festive favourites including:
City of Belfast Youth Orchestra (Conductor Robert Briscoe) with Megan Mooney & Flax Trust Vocal Ensemble performing ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’.
City of Belfast Youth Orchestra – ‘Farandole’ from L’ Arlesienne Suite No. 2. ‘The Christmas Song’ and ‘A Christmas Festival’.
Holy Cross Girls Primary School (Conductor A Shannon, Pianist S Sheridan) ‘I’m so glad on Christmas Eve’ and ‘Silent Night’.
‘A Holly Jolly Christmas’ was performed by Jenny Hamilton.
Flax Vocal Ensemble (Conductor A Tubman) ‘The Sound of Music’. ‘Ave Verum Corpus’ and ‘Somewhere in my memory’.

Megan Mooney sang ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ and was joined by Caity Brown to sing ‘The Prayer’.
City of Belfast Youth Orchestra was joined by Megan Mooney and the Flax Vocal Ensemble to perform ‘O Holy Night’ and bring the concert to a close.
